Amanda’s Story
Amanda Corbett is an integrative health professional who is knowledgeable about both Western medicine and complementary healing approaches to health. She’s a Pharmacist, Assistant Dean, and Clinical Associate Professor at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she travels around the world working towards global health and wellness. In addition to Amanda’s impressive career in pharmacology and academia, she’s trained in a myriad of complementary health practices such as biofield energy work, Reiki, yoga, vitamin, minerals, and herbal therapy. She is passionate about large-scale health and wellness and is dedicated to helping people feel good, free from disease and disability.
Originally from Farmville, North Carolina in the Eastern part of the state, Amanda began her academic career as an undergraduate Chemistry student at the University of North Carolina and is proud to have returned to her beloved Tarheels as a pharmacy faculty.
When she isn’t working on behalf of the University of North Carolina or for a World of One client, you’ll find Amanda practicing aerial yoga, camping, singing, playing the guitar, reading, traveling, decorating, and spending time with her family and friends. She is married to a wonderful partner, Colin, and has a beautiful son, Joseph.
